This track will highlight the strategies and policies for fostering health information exchange at
the local, regional and national level. Suggested topics include the planning, launch, and support
of meaningful use of health IT, as well as the best practices, security, and governance required
to make lasting improvements in the HIE ecosystem.
This track will highlight innovations within the federal, state, local government, and healthcare community leaders to foster health information sharing. Educational content may include experiences connecting public sector health agencies as well as the vision, goals, design, and challenges health information policymakers face in fostering program collaboration via health information exchange.
